Dr. Tom Bach grew up in Milwaukee, received his undergraduate degree from UW-Madison in finance and accounting, and his veterinary degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine. Following 10 years of ownership of a veterinary clinic in Edgerton, WI, he decided to open a neighborhood practice and walk to work. Dr.Pam Mache had a similar idea, and together they opened Lakeview Veterinary Clinic in November 2006.

Tom is an adjunct professor at the UW School of Veterinary Medicine. He is married to Birgit (our resident artist), and they have two children - Alex and Annika. The Bach family has 2 dogs (Cosmo and Bisous), a cat (Cinders), a horse (Coal), and a parakeet (Mia). Dr. Bach enjoys running, swimming, hiking/backpacking, camping, skiing, travel, baking, and reading.
