Dr. Leigh Kasten grew up outside of Chicago, IL. She earned her Bachelor of Science from Brown University in 2009, and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Cornell University in 2013. She went on to complete a medical and surgical internship at the ASPCA Animal Hospital in New York City before moving to Madison. She practiced as an emergency veterinarian for two years before transitioning to general practice in the Madison area. 

She is excited to be joining the team at Lakeview and is looking forward to building lasting relationships with LVC’s patients and clients. 

She loves the variety of challenges veterinary medicine offers, and has a passion for dentistry, wellness care, internal medicine, and geriatric care. Dr. Kasten lives in Madison with her husband, son, and a menagerie of animals. In her free time, she enjoys reading, hiking in Madison’s beautiful parks, visiting local coffee shops, and practicing yoga.
