Our Services

We at Lakeview Veterinary Clinic believe in the importance of an annual physical examination for each and every one of our patients.  Our pets age at an accelerated pace relative to their people.  Routine check-ups with an emphasis on preventative care offer an opportunity to maintain your pet's quality of life.

as a comprehensive resource for questions you may have about pet behavior, health, diseases, and medications. The information is provided by the Veterinary Information Network (VIN), and can be trusted as accurate and current.

Our services include:

Anesthesia:

The injectable and gas anesthetics we use are the safest available.  Pre-anesthetic blood screening can alert us to underlying conditions that may heighten a patient's risk of anesthetic complications.  The patient's vital signs are carefully monitored throughout all anesthetic procedures.

Behavioral Counseling:

We will listen to your concerns and offer appropriate diagnostics to rule out medical causes.  We can then suggest solutions to a variety of common behavioral issues.  We also will provide referrals to local specialists, when necessary.

Dentistry:

Our dental services include preventative care, ultrasonic scaling and polishing, dental X-rays, tooth extractions and minor oral surgery.

Dietary Counseling:

Your pet's nutritional needs change throughout their lifetime.  We will make suggestions based on your pet's lifestage and medical condition.  We recommend and stock the Royal Canin and Hill's Veterinary Diets.

Electrocardiography Services:

We provide ECG monitoring during anesthetic procedures, as well as referral consultations with cardiology specialists.

Emergency Care:

For after-hour emergencies we recommend:

Veterinary Emergency Service, (286-1029), 1612 North High Point Rd., Middleton
Emergency Clinic for Animals, (274-7772), 229 W. Beltline Hwy (Rimrock Rd. exit).

Laboratory:

Our in-house laboratory allows for bloodwork, urinalysis, and parasite testing.  We also make use of commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics.

Microchip ID:

We offer HomeAgain microchip identification.

Pharmacy:

We maintain an inventory of prescription medications, heartworm preventatives, flea and tick control products, as well as the Royal Canin and Hill's prescription diets.

Radiology Services:

Our on-site X-ray equipment provides us with high quality images to aid in our assessment and diagnosis.

Surgical Services:

Our modern surgery room accomodates a wide variety of surgical procedures.  We also work closely with local specialists, and offer referrals when appropriate.

Ultrasound:

We offer in-hospital referrals to an internal medicine specialist, providing us with a higher level of diagnostics in more complicated cases.
